Karma was first launched as an app when the four founders—Hjalmar Ståhlberg Nordegren, Elsa Bernadotte, Ludvig Berling, and Mattis Larsson—realized how huge the problem of surplus food was within the industry. So they built a platform that made it much easier for retailers to sell the food rather than throw it away, helping solve food waste while also allowing people to buy great food for less. Karma is at the forefront, acting as a role model for people and companies to minimize the eco-human footprint on our planet.
